This is a short and honest privacy policy. We collect as little information as possible, and we tell you exactly what we do with it.

Who we are

Retention Besties is a customer success and retention consultancy. This website is operated by Retention Besties (Barbora Schillerová and Denisa Kutschera). You can reach us at hello@retentionbesties.com.

What we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your company name or website URL
  • Your email address
  • The message you write describing your churn situation

When you book a call through our Calendly link, Calendly collects:

  • Your name and email
  • The fields you fill in their booking form (Company, churn description)
  • The time slot you book

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run analytics that identify you personally. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing.

Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and have a useful conversation about your business. That's it.

Where it's stored

  • Form submissions are processed by Formspree, an established form backend service. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on their servers in the United States. See Formspree's privacy practices at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Email correspondence lives in our hello@retentionbesties.com inbox.
  • Calendly bookings are stored on Calendly's servers. See Calendly's privacy practices at calendly.com/privacy.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we are actively in conversation with you, or for a maximum of 12 months after our last contact, whichever comes first. After that, we delete it.

If you become a client, we keep relevant business records for as long as required by applicable accounting and tax law.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Ask us what information we have about you
  • Ask us to correct it if it's wrong
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Object to how we use it
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@retentionbesties.com and we will respond within 30 days. We won't make you fill out a form or jump through hoops.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For meaningful changes (e.g., new data collection), we will do our best to notify people who have already contacted us by email.
